hello real world.
Speak My Mind October 6th, 2008hi guys. this is my second post. so yeah, took me that long to finally write another post. anyway.
Let me tell you a story.
Last Sunday, 10/05/08. Me and my friends went to market! Yeah, you heard me right. “MARKET”.
Goodbye MALL days. Goodbye happy “PETIKS” moments. Its time to meet the real world. So how did we come up with this “visit the market plan?”. Me and Kat (friend) just thought that it would be much convinient and practical to cook our own food instead of buying or eating somewhere else. Do you guys agree?
So, on to our market adventure…
We bought our very own stove, kitchen utensils, food for dinner (chiken and pinoy style spaghetti ingridients) , bigas na saksakan ng mahal (*laughs), egg and condiments.
May I tell you, the place stinks, its “MAPUTIK”, “MABAHO”, “MADULAS”.
Yeah, actually I hate the experience. Unfortunetly lagi na namin gagawin yun. Why? Because we folks are independent now. No parents or yaya to help us with our duties, one time i remember, I washed by clothes, after washing, ang sakit ng likod at ang kamay ko infairness nagsugat. I have to get use to it.
So back to the story, after buying, we head straight to home, John (another friend) prepared the food, which was terribly good (*laughs)! Kat washed the dishes and I, cleaned my room. (haha lugi sila*). Anyway, after that exhausting day, the palengke thinggy ,laba, linis and all, we get the chance to eat!
Pretty rewarding right?
*Lesson learned. Next time go to SM supermarket. Kidding! XD
